All members of the Neuro Rehab Physio team are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and are also registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.

Emily Jay

Emily qualified with a first class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. She has over 19 years experience and has worked as a Physiotherapist specialising in neurology for the past 16 years. She works part time as a clinical specialist within the NHS.

Emily has completed an MSc in Neurological Physiotherapy and is a qualified botulinum toxin injector for spasticity and dystonia management.

She has completed the PD warrior level 1&2 training and is FES trained.

Emily has been involved in research in a wide range of neurological conditions including: FND, MND and Muscle Disease. She is London Representative for the Association of Physiotherapists with an interest in vestibular rehabilitation (ACPIVR).

Emily has a wide experience working in neurosurgery, neuromedicine, stroke, neuro-rehabilitation, neuro outpatients, spasticity services, wheelchair services and community rehabilitation, muscle disease and vestibular rehabilitation and facial palsy.

Nathalie Lucas

Nathalie qualified with a first class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.  She had over 10 years of experience working within neurology within the NHS before working with Neuro Rehab Physio.

Nathalie has completed her three week basic Bobath course, APPI pilates and neuro pilates courses which she incorporates into treatments where relevant.

She has also completed an MSc module in ‘Advancing practice in Neurotherapy’ and presented internationally at the Motor Neurone Disease Symposium and locally at the ACPIN conference.

Nathalie has a wealth of neurological experience in: neurosurgery, neuromedicine, neuro-oncology, stroke, neuro-rehabilitation, neuro-outpatients, community neuro services, Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), facial palsy and vestibular rehabilitation. She implements a holistic approach to assessment and treatment. Working on facilitating changes in disturbances of function, movement and postural control in order to optimise her patient’s functional ability and enhance quality of life.

Joanna Damaa

Joanna qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2001. She has over 19 years experience and has worked as a Physiotherapist specialising in neurology for the past 15 years. She works part time as a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist in Neurosurgery and Neuro-Oncology at Kings College Hospital.

She has completed courses in Bobath, APPI pilates, vestibular rehabilitation and facial rehabilitation as well as kinesiology taping for neurological conditions. She is certified a STEEL cancer rehabilitation therapist.

Joanna has extensive experience working in neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, neuro-outpatients, community neuro-rehabilitation, major trauma, complex disability management, acquired brain injury and disorders of consciousness, facial palsy, vestibular and balance rehabilitation.

Amy Jones

Amy qualified in 2003 and has over 18 years of experience working within the specialist field of Neurology. She currently works as a clinical lead Physiotherapist in Neurosurgery and Neuro-Oncology at Kings College Hospital.

Amy has completed her three week basis Bobath course and is FES trained. She has attended courses in vestibular rehabilitation, facial palsy management, kinesiology taping for neurological conditions and is certified as a PINC cancer rehabilitation therapist.

She has been involved in and published research in the field of Neuro-Oncology and Stroke and is a Neuro tutor for Rocktape.

Amy has expert skills having treated a wide range of patients with complex and rare Neuro disability. She has extensive experience in neurosurgery, Neuro-oncolgy, Neuro-rehabilitation, stroke management, facial palsy rehabilitation and in treating patients with long term neurological conditions.
